A கூரை making asks for little, but a little care keeps it standing strong for decades.

Complete Natural Thatching

A fresh watery reed is plugged and it is dried up for a while, after a dry it is processed as a fibre , in tamil it is called as (Kanam pill). It is 100% natural way of thatching the roof.

Re-thatch on every damage

The top layer of thatch weathers first; we replace it in a few days, leaving the rest untouched. It should be replaced immmediately after every damage or change the whole roof.
